I have a 1998 RVR X3 rallyart and I'm looking for options to tune the car or swapping the computer from an Airtrek into the car.

I have created xmls by studying differences between simular computers and the use of a hex editor and winols to create xml's for the engine but, I dont have a simular ecu to study to create a xml for the transmission.

The transmission and engine computer are combined in the same case with seperate 7202f h8/500 processors and they share inputs tps rpm etc...

Would someone have an xml for the transmission ?
can someone create an XML for me for the transmission if I pay some money?

Alternativly can I swap the ecu from the Airtrek into the RVR? it has a w4a51 transmission that is 4 speed not 5 like the Airtrek so it would need to be remapped to suit the RVR so it does not throw speed sensor errors as the ratios are different.

I believe the Airtrek has a fly by wire Electronic throttlebody can the airtrek computer work with a mecanical one ?

has any one done this is there wiring differences in the computers ?

Also I have flashed a evo5 rom to the computer to test and it runs the engine but the transmission runs in limp mode is there a way to tell why the transmission is in limp mode ? the EVO 5 rom has more features, bigger maps, asl etc... and i would like to run an evo 5 rom in the car is possible.

AFAIK he adapted airtrek ROM for 4AT.
But you should have strong reasons for swapping ECU. Maybe getting more complete xml will be enough for you.
Airtrek has mechanical throttle.

I do know the airtrek ecu will plugin to the factory wiring loom as the RVR has the same 4 connectors with three rows of pins.

I have read of people plugging an airtrek computer in and adjusting the shift rpm in the 5th gear to 10000 Rpm to work with a 4at transmission.

I believe there are wiring differences as there were reports of the aircon not working afterwards.
It would be best if I can get complete xml's for my car but it seems there is no specialists to create ones for transmission on h8/500 processor as the airtrek has a sh4 chipset.

Here is updated xml with definitions for the transmission it needs testing and verification.
I dont know how to disasemble to verify it is accurate maybe something can do this or someone can do some testing and verification and report back ?.
